Mvt 1: Parallels (instrumental) Mvt 2: "Watcher of Worlds" I'm the one with the power who sees all worlds, who watches lives try to make their meaning and reckon with their time. In all these versions of ourselves are secret truths where the answer lies only in us. The weight of the world is spinning around me. I'm the Watcher of Worlds, a guide to the order of things. Inside all these screens are lives to be seen, but I can't do a thing to change up the course of a life. I see one in particular, a Meaning Maker who's lost his stride. I want to help reclaim his life, but I swore an oath. Could I visit him without interfering? Oh it hurts to be so powerless in his life. The weight of the world is spinning around me. I'm the Watcher of Worlds, a guide to the order of things. Inside all these screens are lives to be seen, but I can't do a thing to change up the course of a life. Mvt 3: "Rewind" I don't know who I am, tiny grain in the sand. Hourglass starts to break, catching me in its wake. It doesn't really matter now, I don't want to go on living like a void in a crowded room. A light is staring back at me, questioning what is free. Telling me I should go, these lights of truth seem to know. In every step I take I lose my sense of what's real, is nothing anything? I'm not in the right time, I've fallen out of line. These worlds not intertwined. Where to go with no rewind? I've fallen out of line. These worlds not intertwined. Where to go with no rewind? I won't ever find my place in this line. A parallel divide. Where to go with no rewind? Mvt 4: "The Visit" The Watcher: My dear old friend what troubles you, you seem distraught, on shaky ground, disconnected, and falling apart. The Meaning Maker: Who are you? Where did you come from? Why are you here? How do you know me? The Watcher: I'm a watcher of sorts from another place, another time. I see everyone connecting to The Order of Things. The Meaning Maker: What do you mean? Another time? Could there be more than how I have lived? The Watcher: Choices make consequences through time. Where there is you there is another living his life. The Meaning Maker: How can I get there? How many are there? How will I know I've reached the right one? The Watcher: I swore an oath to protect these sacred thoughts. I'm sorry my friend I can't answer that, these questions are your own. The Meaning Maker: You say there are more worlds, I'm not in the right one. To hell with your oath, just leave me alone.

Hanging in the balance. Endless space of happenstance. Infinite through these trees. Arrival of so many me's. Justifying what's right while possibilities ignite. The presence fueled by this hell. Absence of a present self. Stay or go, survival through decisions based on theory. Nothing's full proof there's no definitive way out of here. Traveling apart, pulled in opposite directions, sets these many worlds in motion. If what I do in this world effects the other ones? Many worlds in motion. I'm stuck in the wrong world. Stay or go, survival through decisions based on theory. Nothing's full proof there's no definitive way out of here. Traveling apart, pulled in opposite directions, sets these many worlds in motion. If what I do in this world effects the other ones? Many worlds in motion.

Absurdity in view, a stranger to the Earth beneath my feet, the ground I walk on shakes a feeling of what's inside me. Destruction all around, buildings collapse, nothing but dust to the ground. Like graves in decay, a ghost town right in front of me. I've got to figure out why I'm here when none of this matters, when what I've been given will leave behind no impressions. One foot in, one foot out, can't decide which way is down. How can I go on when things don't quite fit? No place for me. I lie awake at night, the Watcher's words ring loudly through my head and all I hear is something out of sorts. The dust from bones breaking, they linger like little velcro clouds, they stick in the air and fuse with the start of a mental decline. One foot in, one foot out, can't decide which way is down. How can I go on when things don't quite fit? No place for me. I need to find me place. I need to search for a way out of here and leave this behind, reach out to my right time. One foot in, one foot out, can't decide which way is down. I'll take my life and walk behind, step inside divided lines.

Mvt 1: "My Own Way" Maybe I've gone about this all wrong until now. To passively live this world. No participation. Could I create my own way regardless if I belong? Make the meaning I desire and live my life? The risk no different. The choice is mine to liberate. I step back and turn away from the Porta Vitae Mundos. I reclaim the little things with appreciation. And while I build up my life, the Portal starts closing in. Smaller and smaller it gets while I stretch my horizons. Never to return. There's only this one world. I'm here to stay, I'll find my own way. No turning back, I'll find my own way. I'm here to stay, I'll find my own way. No turning back, I'll find my own way. Mvt 2: "Watcher of Worlds" (reprise) I'm the Watcher of Worlds, a view from the big screen seems he's found everything to make right what's in front of him. Inside all these screens is one to be seen. They're interconnected and bring to light what's in our core. Mvt 3: "Step Inside" The Meaning Maker: I'm leaning into meaning and I feel alive, connected to the very thing I create. Now I realize there is only one, one world and I choose how to belong. The Watcher: The many worlds go dim. His world is center screen, alive and at peace with meaning in between. I peacefully watch, his shadow is gone, and he can be as free as he wants. These worlds were never more than equations from our mind, and as the Portal closes now it is time... It's time for me to go. I've seen enough and I can tell he's found his way. So I walk away, leave his screen on, and let it play out. No interference. I swore an oath. This weight's lifted, and now the spinning has stopped so I can leave and make my own meaning. I can leave and make my own meaning. So step inside your own screen and start living.

about

Parallels is a concept album that tells the story of The Meaning Maker's need to find purpose, the internal crisis he faces, and the journey he embarks on as The Watcher interferes with the only life he's ever known. Rooted in psychology, philosophy, and science, Parallels is an epic voyage into unknown worlds and existential discovery.

Press:
"Beautifully crafted, the record emerges in the same ethereal camp as Rush's, 'A Farewell to Kings', Porcupine Tree's, 'Fear of a Blank Planet', and Pink Floyd's, 'Echoes'. 'Parallels' is a prolific album worthy of repeated listens." (Brian M. Owens - The Metronome)

"An excellent new thirteen track album split between five chapters." (Nick Baldrian - Powerplay)

"An intricate concept accompanied by intricate music. Undoubtedly a very talented artist." (Artur Chachlowski - MLWZ)

"A progressive/symphonic rock oriented record, Dede does a nice job doing everything by herself, delivering a concept album that will keep the progrock fan entertained." (Gabor Kleinbloesem - Strutter)

"An ultimate example of a solo record, Parallels is an inventive effort, trying some paths least taken and not playing it safe. Out of this world." (Sergey Nikulichev - DPRP)

"A magnum opus seamlessly weaving together progrock elements and symphonic grandeur, what 'Parallels' sets apart is not just musical prowess but its profound thematic depth." (Niko - Prog Sphere)

"Booth knows how to use all [her] musical influences and mix them in a way to create [her] own identity in the music scene; progressive and the sensibility of doom metal with doses of modernity and technique" (Jessica Mar - Sound Revista)
